CFE is a founding partner of the Entrepreneurs' Organization (EO, formerely YEO) Moscow Chapter. The chapter was officially launched on February 6, 2003 with a reception that was attended by YEO members, potential members, Russian government officials, as well as the media. (Read more about the EO Moscow chapter launch.)
EO, through its educational and networking activities, assists young entrepreneurs in building their companies. EO members must be younger than 39, and be a founder or co-founder, owner or controlling shareholder of a company with gross annual sales that exceed $1 million. While some EO members own companies with sales over $1 billion, the typical company revenue is $9 million.
CFE recruited four Russian entrepreneurs to be founding members of the Moscow chapter, and accompanied them to EO's European Conference in Paris, France. (Read more about the EO 2002 European Conference.) CFE assists in developing and implementing the Moscow chapter's learning programs.
CFE co-sponsored EO's 2003 European Conference in Moscow on October 10-12, 2003, where 100 entrepreneurs from Europe and around the world gathered in Moscow to meet with their Russian counterparts for learning and networking events. (Read about the event here.)
Currently, CFE is recruiting founding members of the St. Petersburg chapter of EO. We hope to have an official launch of the St. Petersburg EO chapter in the Spring of 2005.
EO is an excellent opportunity for Russian entrepreneurs to network with their peers from around the world and to make contacts that can expand their business. To learn more about joining the Moscow chapter of EO, please call (095) 252-7927.
Opinion from EO Moscow Chapter President:
"Please accept my warmest compliments for the supportive role [CFE] played in organizing the Russian entrepreneurs' trip to the Paris conference held by EO in November. Participation in the Paris forum increased my desire to participate in EO in Russia. Moreover, the word about YEO has spread among my associates, many of whom want to join the chapter. I believe that we have great potential to establish an active and beneficial organization for Russian business owners."
