November 26, 2004 - Rouben Vardanyan, President of Troika Dialog Group, Wins the National Entrepreneur Of The Year Contest in Russia

The EOY annual contest is being held by Ernst & Young in Russia for the second time in 2004. This national contest is part of Ernst & Young's international Entrepreneur Of The Year© Award program, launched 18 years ago (1986) and established to recognize and honor outstanding entrepreneurial achievements in developing the global and national economies.

March 2004 - Andrey Kalashnikov, a young businessman from Penza, is the winner of the Business Breakthrough competition, a joint project of My Business magazine and the U.S. Russia Center for Entrepreneurship. In less than four years, starting from scratch, he built a manufacturing company with a turnover of US $1.2 million.

The Cream of the Crop in Business - Ernst & Young Begins Entrepreneur of the Year award in Russia

July 28, 2003 - The publishing house Kommersant has become a media sponsor of the Entrepreneur of the Year award program, which Ernst & Young, the world’s largest auditing and consulting firm, has conducted annually for 17 years. Now Russian entrepreneurs as well have gained an opportunity to participate in this competition, and this step indicates that business in this country has acquired a deserving reputation in the international arena.  Among the sponsors of the award program are the management company Yevrazkholding, Renessans Kapital, the agency Mikhaylov and Partners, and the U.S. Russia Center for Entrepreneurship.
